Terms of Service
These terms apply when you install and use the Oftime Mac app.
1. Automated System Supervision & Force-Close Authorization
By installing and enabling the App, you grant explicit authorization for the software to monitor active process names, window titles, and web URLs on your device, and to automatically terminate, minimize, or block processes deemed non-productive by the system’s AI parameters.
2. Limitation of Liability for Interrupted Work & Data Loss
Under no circumstances shall the developer or provider of this App be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the automated termination or blocking of applications. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Loss of unsaved data, documents, or media files.
- Disrupted online sessions, video calls, or transactions.
- Misclassification of active work as non-productive content ("false positives").
You acknowledge that you use the App's automated enforcement features at your own risk and are solely responsible for ensuring your work is saved prior to enabling focus sessions.
3. Third-Party Monitoring & Compliance Responsibilities
You agree that you will only install and activate this App on devices you own or on devices for which you have explicit, lawful permission to monitor. If deployed in a workplace, school, or multi-user environment, you are solely responsible for providing all required employee or user notices and complying with applicable local electronic monitoring and workplace surveillance laws.
