Llama 3.2

Get the model onto your Mac.

Oftime does not ship with Llama inside it. The app talks to Ollama on this computer. If Ollama is installed, Oftime starts it and downloads Llama 3.2. Nothing is sent to a cloud model.

  1. Download Ollama for Mac Use the official page, ollama.com/download. Open the app once after it installs so it can run in the background.
  2. Open Oftime Settings, under Local AI, shows the status. If Llama 3.2 is missing, Oftime downloads it and shows the percent. When it says running, the gatekeeper can answer.
  3. Or pull the model yourself In Terminal, run ollama pull llama3.2. Oftime looks for the tag llama3.2 at 127.0.0.1:11434.
  4. Allow browser control once The first time a blocked site opens, macOS asks Oftime to control the browser. Allow it. If you dismissed the prompt, turn it on in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation.

If Ollama is not installed, Oftime says so in Settings. It does not include an Ollama installer. The website demo will not answer until Llama 3.2 is running. You need the Mac app and this website. Install for macOS is in the top bar.
